Fashion for a Cause: New Yorkers For Children & Fashion For Relief

Last September 16, 2008, the New Yorkers For Children organization celebrated their 9th Annual Fall Gala. The event benefits the over 17,000 children living in foster care in the city. The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is an international coalition of individuals and organizations formed to promote increased public awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns in the developing, as well as, developed countries. The show attracted many celebrities and they walked on the runway in aid of charity.
